A truly unique proposal story that we have come across is of Jon Holt proposing to his girlfriend Iris Howorth. The couple were both teachers at a high school during the time of the proposal, so Holt decided that the best idea would be to get the whole school in on it – and he was right!

While Howorth had to leave her class for a quick minute, Holt snuck in and set up a camera so that he would be able to catch the whole thing on video. He quickly explained to her students that he was about to propose and that he wanted them to be in on the act! Holt handed each student a ring pop and asked them to propose to her one at a time as if the whole thing was a joke.

By the time Howorth had returned to her class, Holt was gone and in his place were students ready to give Howorth the surprise of a life time. After each student had their turn with proposing to Howorth, Holt bursts through the door and gets down on one knee. Howorth immediately said yes, and as they walk out into the hallway of the school, she is treated to another surprise!
