A grandma and her grandson coined a song and dance to celebrate the moment the grandma was strong enough to maneuver without a walker, and now they’re going viral!
The TikTok account broooook3 originally shared the celebration in a video last week, and it’s quickly earned over a million views and thousands of shares.
The video shows the grandson’s impressive improv skills as he sings a catchy song that goes, “Grandma’s got to walker, aye!… Grandma doesn’t need a walker anymore… The walker’s probably gonna be locked up in the closet” while playing the keyboard and rocking vintage sunglasses.
Meanwhile, Grandma is showing her best dance moves as she groves along to the tune and feels the freedom of ditching the walker.
The grandma’s moves are quite impressive, and it’s obvious she did a lot of dancing in her life. The grandson’s song is actually an earworm—you may catch yourself singing it all day. But the best part of the video is the almost tangible joy coming from the duo.
