Passengers grant last wish for terminally ill flight attendant, the gesture is heart-wrenching.

LouAnn Alexander was a 34 year veteran of Southwest airlines. The dedicated flight attendant loved her job, but when her battle with cancer took a turn for the worse she was suddenly forced to leave it all behind.

Her brother Rex hated the fact that Luanne was torn from a life she loved… so he hatched a plan to give her some closure in the midst of her scary situation.

Rex took a flight to visit his ailing sister on March 12, 2016, but before the airliner got underway he had a special request for everyone onboard. He got on the intercom and told the passengers about his beloved sister and what the job meant to her… then they responded in the most beautiful way.

Instead of a note or two, Rex was handed 96 personal letters and keepsakes written by passengers at the end of the flight. The outpouring of love and encouragement for Louann has since inspired people all over the world.
