After Beating Cancer, Two Sisters Are Doing The Most Beautiful Thing For Other Women Still Fighting The Battle

According to the CDC, one in eight women will be diagnosed with some form of breast cancer in their lifetime. Early detection and screening procedures have helped to reduce the fatality rate drastically, but chances are all of our lives will be affected by the disease in one way or another.

For those women who are undergoing chemotherapy, one of the most difficult changes is obvious for everyone to see… losing their hair. For women, this can be a terrifying and unnerving experience.

After sisters Joanna and Jolanta survived their battle with cancer, they never forgot the pain of losing their hair. For them, it wasn’t an issue of vanity. It was a physical reminder that they were sick… one that other people don’t handle very well.

Instead of forgetting about their struggles, the duo decided to help other women that were going through the same thing. They opened the W. Sisters Beauty Salon in their hometown of Szczecin, Poland to give others fighting cancer a little light in the darkness.
