Guy Quit His Desk Job To Pursue His Balloon Tying Dream, What He’s Able To Make Will Amaze You!

54-year-old Glen LaValley, was working in technology when he finally realized he’d had enough of the corporate grind. It took 15 years of entertaining others part time with his balloon animals to realize how much he loved the process… and just last year he dove in full time.

“I started doing the balloons for entertainment, just for my own enjoyment and fun, then I had people interested in booking me out,”he told BuzzFeed Canada. And since being able to concentrate on his creations full time, his company has taken off!

As you can see, he’s gotten really good at it!

  • Glen’s life has gotten a lot simpler since he made the switch to his passion , “I just want to do something that means a lot to me.”

  • “It’s a very powerful and uplifting experience to have people as crazy as you, who like doing what you like to do,”he said.

  • “I’m way happier,”he said. “My life stresses are much different than they were before. Now I make my own destiny and I can choose what I want to do and when I want to do it.â€

  • “People who are really dedicated to the art tend to be really good-hearted individuals. It’s a very sharing community,”he said.

  • “I like to bring elements of puppetry and technology into my balloons,”he said. “I’m kind of the crazy guy who looks to make things different.â€

  • Now, he spends his days helping people feel like kids again.

  • “People have hidden creativity that they don’t know they have and if you don’t try new things you may not discover the creativity within you.â€
