Billionaire Buys Dinner For 400 US Soldiers During Layover, But The Reason Behind It Is So Touching.

Getting stuck in an airport layover isn’t something people really look forward to. To name a couple of reasons why: you can never find the right place to take a nap, you probably smell like, well, an airport and everything is pretty overpriced (that a plain bagel shouldn’t be $6…).

But when LA businessman and billionaire, Shlomo Rechnitz, saw a group of US soldiers hanging out in the Ireland airport as they waited for their flight, he decided to give them a break and show some kindness, appreciation and acknowledgment for their service.

“…you guys have risked your lives to protect me and my family.”

For every one of the 400 soldiers there, Shlomo gave each $50 so they could have a nice meal while waiting for the next leg of their trip.

As the video description reads, “He saw them eating standard army food while all the other passengers in the terminal were eating in trendy and appetizing restaurants. Rechnitz then asked their commander if he can give them something extra. This is Rechnitz offering words of appreciation to the soldiers after the commander agreed.”

Watch his inspiring “thank you” in the video below.

The Takeaway: give to others in a manner that is abnormally kind. The world takes notices.
