As any parent knows, travelling with kids can be stressful. One kid alone can be a handful, but how about travelling by yourself with 4 little ones? Okay, now imagine 2 of them are babies!
This was the scenario for a mom flying Finnair last week. The crew noticed the woman flying alone, juggling 2 babies and 4 kiddos, and sought out a way to help her. Then Tom, a pilot who was taking that flight as a passenger, stepped in. When Tom saw the mom’s situation, he volunteered to be an “extra lap” and help feed her babies.
A crew member snapped a photo of Tom and shared the story in the Instagram caption below.
Today we had a mother on board traveling with four little boys. Two of the boys were just babies.
Naturally one cannot travel with two babies on one’s lap, so we had to solve the dilemma of missing lap, otherwise it would have been a no go for mom and the kids.
Luckily we had our positioning crew on board and wonderful Tom took the task of being the extra-lap.
Don’t you find them quite adorable!
Yes, we do find them quite adorable! Just look at that sweet baby’s face, looking up at his new friend and holding his thumb. So sweet!
Big shout out to Tom for seeing a mom in need and stepping up.
