Most everyone spends at least a little time in the service industry. Those of us that understand how tough the job can be are glad to leave a good tip… but even with a nice bonus it can still be quite a taxing job.

That’s why I love this video.
When the servers started their shifts, it likely seemed like any other. But imagine the surprise to find a HUGE gift on the table: a 1000% tip out of nowhere! So much joy.
In the reaction and selflessness of this video, there is a really important point to drive home: affirmation. Even though the money probably only lasted a week or so, the affirmation these servers received out of pure appreciation boosted their spirits in a way that is invaluable.
