When I heard this quote in the video below, it absolutely shook me to my core. Technology puts the world at our children’s fingertips, but if they lack the motivation to interact with the world around them, what will become of future generations?
Kids spend an average of 6 hours per day looking at a screen. When they get too much screen time, children are much more likely to develop depression, anxiety and obesity before they reach their teenage years. In contrast, spending time outside adventuring, playing or relaxing leads to stronger bodies, minds and hearts.
