Iraq War Vet Gets Standing Ovation For Touching Performance On ‘Dancing with the Stars.’ I Didn’t Expect This.

Noah Galloway is an Iraq war veteran who lost his left arm and left leg in an IED explosion while on duty.  The roadside bomb almost killed him.

But his recovery has been remarkable to say the least.  Now a model, fitness buff, and motivational speaker, Galloway has continued to blow away the expectations this season on Dancing with the Stars.  He has seamlessly performed dances that are nearly impossible with all four limbs – even though he only has two.  His continued intensity of focus has inspired his partner and other dancers.  He has been a true representation of courage.

And this performance might be the epitome of it all.  Doing an interpretative dance to Toby Keith’s “American Hero,” he absolutely nails it. His emotion is captivating.  The result?  A HUGE standing ovation.  Check out the video below and be ready to get a little teary-eyed!

Here’s our takeaway: Be courageous because it inspires others and can change lives (including your own).
