Giving back is one of the most important parts of life, and this family has found a particularly wonderful way of doing just that.
Barb Meyer and her husband John spend every summer growing beautiful fields of gladiolus flowers. The flowers, cut from a four-and-a-half acre plot surrounded by corn and soybeans on their farm near Elgin, Minnesota, serve as a source of happiness for patients.
That’s because the Meyer’s give the flowers away to local hospitals for people to give to sick family members. Instead of turning a profit, they are giving away happiness.
While the majority of the flowers are given to St. Mary’s Hospital at the Mayo Clinic, this incredible act of kindness has been an inspiration to thousands who have heard their story.
Spread this amazing act of kindness today!
