Thousands Of People Unite To Remember Their Friend Zach.

A kind melody

At the age of 14, Zach Sobiech was diagnosed with a rare bone cancer called osteosarcoma.  Instead of having one leg amputated and removing one side of his hip, Zach decided to get out of the hospital and spend the rest of his days LIVING.

Zach Passed away on May 20, 2013, 17 days after his 18th birthday.  A year later, thousands gathered at the Mall of America to celebrate his life in a perfectly ‘Zach’ way.  Here’s the song Zach wrote to say goodbye to his friends and loved ones:

In an interview before his death, Zach said, ““it’s awesome to see someone else smile because you put it there.” Man, if he’s looking down on us, he’s surely delighted because joy radiates through every second of this video.

To create even more smiles, get on board with The Children’s Cancer Research Fund and donate a fund in Zach’s Name.
