Girl With Down Syndrome Finds Out She Made The Cheerleading Team, And It’s The Sweetest Moment Ever!

Lacey Parker thrilled to be a cheerleader

It was anything but a normal day at the Parker household last week. It was an awesome day! That’s because 10-year-old Lacey Parker, who had dreamed of becoming a cheerleader since watching her older sisters cheer, found out she made the squad.

Lacey was born with Down Syndrome and doctors said she wouldn’t live past 10 days. Now we find her in this video, originally posted on mom Renee’s Facebook page, living life to fullest and now living her dream!

Lacey was ecstatic when she scrolled through the roster on her mom’s iPad and saw her number, 28, on the list. We hope you are inspired by this young girl’s enthusiasm and determination to live her dreams. Please share to inspire your friends and family with Lacey’s story!
