Not everyone can afford tons of presents under the Christmas Tree, and– even if they can– the time it takes to buy and wrap the perfect gifts can make the entire season stressful. The video below eases that stress by putting things in perspective. Because yes… we should be thankful for the gifts under the tree. But there’s so much more to be grateful for than that.
It starts with a mom and dad waking up to start their day. At first, it might seem odd that they are both wrapped in gift-wrap but, as you watch, you’ll realize that waking up in the morning is a gift, one of the many gifts pointed out in the video that we often take for granted.
Forest Hill, the church that produced the video, uploaded the poignant short film with the following caption: “It’s time we change our perspective and give thanks for the big & little things in everyday life!”
