The “fairy chimneys,” which are tall, cone-shaped rock formations clustered in Monks Valley (and elsewhere), are a particular draw. But there are also Bronze Age homes carved into valley walls by troglodytes (cave dwellers). That’s just to name a couple.
One of the best way to see the rich landscape is from a bird’s-eye-view… which is exactly why hundreds of hot air balloon fanatics gathered to take flight. The footage is stunning.
