5-Yr-Old Tells Dad She’s Going To Sing A ‘Sad’ Song — The Result Is Heart-Melting.

Kids have a way of seeing things in a way that’s a little different from the average adult. For instance, 5-year-old Claire Ryann Crosby is a fan of the song “Tomorrow” from Annie.

Before Claire and dad Dave Crosby performed the song, she warned the audience that she’d be performing a song “that’s a little bit sad.”

What’s sad about “Tomorrow?” Well, maybe it’s the idea of “being stuck with a day that’s gray and lonely.” That would certainly explain the “little bit” sad that Claire sees in the song.

And then there’s her adorable, heartfelt interpretation of the popular classic, where she clearly sees it as a song to be performed with a kind of mournful sincerity. But it’s more likely to make you cry from the cuteness of it than any actual sorrow!

While her father plays the song’s melody on an acoustic guitar, Claire at first quietly sang the first couple of verses from the famed tune. She then moved to belting out the later lines as only a future diva in the making could!

After the daddy-daughter duo finished, a beaming Dave left Claire to take her final bows.

A little sad? There’s no way anyone could be sad after hearing such a cute cover of the famous song. It’s no wonder that little Claire keeps winning hearts all over YouTube!
