Judges Turn For Singing Dad, Then Hear His Daughter Can Sing & Bring Her Onstage Too.

It’s not uncommon for talented individuals from YouTube to find their way to competitions like The Voice. One of the most recent viral sensations to appear on the show is Dave Crosby of Seattle, Washington.

You may not recognize Dave on his own, but wait til you see his adorable sidekick…

Look familiar?

Before making it to The Voice, Dave and Claire wowed the Internet with a touching cover of the Randy Newman song “You’ve Got A Friend In Me.” You may also recognize Claire from the viral video Dave filmed at age 3 of her singing “Part of Your World.” Then there’s the time the daddy/daughter duo created an epic music video recreating a scene from “Tangled.”

Because The Voice uses blind auditions, there was no way for the judges to recognize Dave. However, they did immediately recognize his talent. In the end, three judges turned for him.

While talking about what brought him to the show, Dave admitted that it was his 4-year-old daughter that reignited his passion for singing. It was at that moment that judge Adam Levine realized who he was.

Soon after, all of the judges asked Dave to bring Claire on stage for a brief repeat of their cute viral video.

It’s pretty easy to see Claire is a natural talent who wasn’t remotely shy about sharing her gift with the world.

Shelton joked that as much as he’d like Dave on his team, he’d also like Claire as well. We can’t blame them, as they’d certainly be a formidable duo!
