The funny videos we watch on social media often have innocent intentions, but the backlash can be swift. During the most recent episode of her “Not Gonna Lie” podcast, Kylie Kelce dishes on gender disappointment and why she really hates these videos.

“Some people probably shouldn’t post gender reveals online, where everyone, a.k.a. the entire world, can see them,” Kylie said. “And I’m on record saying I don’t like them anyway.”
Kylie Kelce Thinks Reveal Videos Are a Bad Idea
Kylie Kelce explained that not every moment of our lives needs to be put online and that these videos often go very wrong. That can lead to huge embarrassment. She then shared a video of a couple finding out they’re having a girl and the dad looking very disappointed.
“Guys. You don’t have to post things. It’s the craziest phenomenon. Actually, you can record videos and then decide to keep them for yourselves,” she said.
Kylie said these videos make her, and plenty of others, uncomfortable.
“Because I think you always have, even if you’re not going to acknowledge it, I think you always have this underlying…you always have one [sex] you’re leaning towards that you would like,” she said. “I just think it’s a prime example of you don’t have to post it. You don’t have to post it.”
The comment section totally agreed with Kylie Kelce’s take on reveal videos and the damage they could do down the line.
“I always think seeing those videos, I hope those babies never see the disappointment on their Parent/s face,” one person wrote.
This person agreed, writing, “If it is not positive.. do not post it!!!!! Unless you want consequences…..yep.”
