A woman on social media decided to surprise her husband with a pair of kittens for the sweetest reason, and we can’t stop smiling! Deanna Forsberg knew that her partner was grieving the loss of his cat, who had to be put down at the age of 19. So, she decided that it was time for him to open his heart to some new pets. She was holding the two adorable kittens in her arms when her partner walked through the door.
At first, Deanna’s husband was confused, but when he found out that the kittens were for him, his reaction was too sweet! His wife introduced the pair as Hazy and Daisy. She also joked that they had the man’s eyes: blue ones. Their new dad was immediately smitten with them, and he was clearly so grateful to his wife for adopting them!
Deanna caught the beautiful moment on camera, and it’s been going viral online. Go Fetch shared the clip on TikTok, where it’s received over two million views!
“He had no idea I was adopting them,” wrote Deanna. “We had to put our 19yo kitty down over a year ago. Every day after work he would go to his parents just to see the animals and it broke my heart.”
