Dancing With the Stars had a very special moment on October 22, 2026 that no one saw coming. During the dedication note, Tyler Cameron and his partner, Sharna Burgess, danced a contemporary routine to Ed Sheeran’s “Supermarket Flowers.” The twist came when the pair dedicated their dance to moms everywhere. During the live show, Tyler Cameron and his fiancée, Tate Madden, found out the sex of their unborn baby.

“I get to be a girl dad. What a gift, what an opportunity,” Tyler said.
Tyler Cameron Can’t Wait to Be a Dad
Tyler Cameron told People that he and Tate are very excited to welcome their baby.
“It’s going to change everything in our lives,” he said. “Our parents gave us a great life, and I want us to give this little baby an even greater life. Everything that we learn from our families [I want to] take the best of it and instill it into our kids.”
Tyler and Tate found out about the pregnancy shortly after their engagement.
“The night we got back from getting engaged, I took the test,” Tate told People. After seeing the positive result, she went to Cameron and said, “You’re not going to believe this.”
Tyler Cameron and Tate Madden wanted to keep the pregnancy a secret so they could make the announcement on DWTS.
“We thought it would be a really amazing way to reveal the baby and celebrate the baby,” Tyler said.
“I want to dedicate it [to mothers] because they’re so important. Everyone needs their mom. Moms are what make this world go around,” he added. “I lost my mom, and my mom would have loved Tate. All the best things in my mom, I found in Tate.”
