Most parents are used to sitting through boring assemblies for their kids’ back to school open houses. Usually, they’re all about listening to the school principal discuss the upcoming year, and there’s very little in the way of entertainment.

But at Walden Grove High School in Sahuarita, Arizona, parents were treated to a totally unique open house ceremony that no doubt left them grinning from ear to ear. You see, the school is well-known for their outstanding PAC dance team, and the troupe never misses a chance to entertain an audience!

Walden Grove High School’s Performing Arts Crew (PAC) dance team has become nationally recognized. They’ve not only won the Arizona State Cheerleading/Pom Tournament four times, but they also auditioned for season 13 of “America’s Got Talent.”

These talented teenagers are also no strangers to internet fame. Videos of the team’s homecoming and assembly dances, all with playful themes like “Pixar,” “Wizard of Oz,” and “Alice In Wonderland,” have reached viral status with millions of views on YouTube.

In keeping with their fun theme, the team put on a “Super Mario Brothers” routine for the parents who attended the school’s 2018 open house. And, as usual, they did not disappoint!

The team was divided into two groups: Marios and Luigis; and two dancers were dressed as the princesses. As the iconic video game music played, the dancers busted out a series of fun and energetic hip-hop moves, all perfectly choreographed and timed.

The kids seem like they’re having a blast, and who could blame them? As for whether the Mario Brothers will save the princesses and win the “game”? You’ll have to watch to find out.

These parents sure are lucky to have such a fun dance troupe to entertain them! We’d all enjoy our school’s open houses a whole lot more if we had the PAC there to liven things up.
