New York City pedestrians were treated to a magical performance thanks to guitaro5000, a YouTuber and musician who regularly invites strangers to sing with him. A young woman named Devashni requested to perform “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran. Although she was nervous at first, her voice absolutely entranced passersby. In fact, a number of couples were seen dancing together on the sidewalk to the romantic tune!
“I was asking people to sing in NYC, when I met Devanshi!” guitaro5000 wrote in his video description. “A student of Purdue on her way from NYC to Indiana, she asks if she could sing an Ed Sheeran song. I ask if her song request made her think of anyone special, and although I never learn who, it became clear our audience on the street felt what Devanshi was expressing towards this mystery special person.”
