For the past 10 years, residents of Toronto, Canada, have gotten used to seeing their local weatherman’s dog. Global Toronto’s Anthony Farnell brings his miniature goldendoodle, “Storm the Weather Dog,” to all of his charity and educational events, and the fluffy fellow is always a bit hit. Storm even shows up on the nightly news from time to time.
On a recent broadcast, Anthony was filling his viewers in on hot temperatures in the city when Storm decided to make another one of his unscripted cameos! The pooch strolled casually onto the green screen, appearing to float on the graphics as he sniffed around in search of treats.
Without missing a beat, Anthony kept on reporting! “Yes, Storm is in the building, getting some treats, walking on thin air,” he joked. Luckily for everyone, Storm stuck around for the rest of the forecast. Talk about stealing someone’s thunder!
