Since appearing on American Idol in 2022, Kelly Clarkson has become a bona fide superstar. She’s sold millions of albums, performed all around the world, won countless awards, and hosted her own talk show all while raising her two children. In February 2026, not long after the death of Brandon Blackwell, the father of her children, Kelly Clarkson made the heartbreaking decision to end The Kelly Clarkson Show. On August 31, 2026, she officially said goodbye after seven seasons. The Kelly Clarkson Show finale was certainly one that fans will remember for years to come.

“The Kelly Clarkson Show” Ended with a Concert

A fan favorite segment on The Kelly Clarkson Show was always Kellyoke. She performed by giving her special spin on hundreds of songs during the show’s tenure. For the finale, Kelly performed “Kelly by Request” and quite literally took song suggestions from the audience. She performed hits from every part of her career, which deeply touched her fans. Kelly sang “Since U Been Gone,” “Piece by Piece,” and “I’d be Lyin’” among others.

Kelly’s kids joined her on stage during the finale of The Kelly Clarkson Show, and it was clear she experienced a bittersweet moment.

Kelly’s fans shared emotional reactions to the finale.

“I’m not ok..Thank you for the 7 amazing seasons Kelly. The light and jou that you brought on daytime TV is incomparable,” a fan shared. “This show will be missed… So much.”

Fans wished Kelly well, even though they’ll miss her.
