Every bar has their regulars, but one swim up venue in the Virgin Islands boasts a pretty unusual customer: a fish named Fred! In a hilarious video on social media, Victoria Watts shared her unforgettable vacation experience at a floating restaurant. While hanging out at the bar, she noticed a friendly face staring up at her from under the water. A large fish was begging for treats!

Obviously, Victoria was more than happy to oblige! Fred the fish happily gobbled up pieces of food right out of her hand at the swim up bar.

Fred the fish is stealing hearts as well as snacks!
Seeing Fred the fish at this swim up bar is apparently an unofficial part of the experience, according to the comments section. Many travelers remembered seeing the creature during their own trips to the same location. Some were charmed by the amiable fish, while others were startled by him.
“He was hanging with us too when we were there in the beginning of April,” wrote one user. “Thought he was gonna snag the taco out of my hand.”
Another said, “Tell me why this is the same fish that freaked me out when we visited a few weeks ago.”
Fred isn’t the only fish who likes to hang out with patrons at a swim up bar. One couple shared footage of a particularly clingy sea critter who wouldn’t leave them alone! However, this fish wasn’t in it for treats. All they wanted was for the vacationers to pet them! Who knew that fish could be so personable?
