For a generation of kids raised on chicken noodle soup and “The Price is Right” on sick days, “Come on down” are the three words we wanted to hear our whole lives. Most of us will never feel the rush that comes with making it to contestant’s row and ultimately on the stage with a winning bid. So when we watch from home, we have to live vicariously through those living our childhood dream in real time. Jay Segal may in fact be the best “The Price Is Right” contestant in history. And it’s not just because she knew how to play the game. She kept Drew Carey in stitches the entire time.

Jay Segal Nailed Her “The Price Is Right” Moment
Jay Segal made it on the stage to meet Drew Carey and play a pricing game on “The Price is Right.” That was just the beginning. She jumped, jived, and even did a cartwheel as her wins kept piling up. She won her game, she spun $1 on the big wheel, and then she hit the Showcase Showdown.
Her Showcase included a trip to the Grand Canyon, which she’s apparently never heard of, and then a new car. She yelled because she’d just totaled her vehicle the day before. Jay Segal bid $31,200. When the show came back from commercial break, Drew Carey said, “Get the heck out. Get ready.” He looked at Jade and told her that the price of her showcase was actually $31,350. Her bid, off by only $150, made her the winner of two showcases.
“This is exactly the kind of contestant you want on The Price Is Right,” someone commented.
This person agreed, writing, “I loved when she picked the guy up. So happy for her.”
At the end of the day, she walked away with a package worth $75, 691. We can’t wait to hear all about her trip to the Grand Canyon.
