Football Star Spots Young Fan Wearing Makeshift Jersey & Shows Up With Sweet Surprise.

While teachers do their best to make sure their students feel included in school activities, kids are bound to feel a little left out when they can’t afford the same things as their peers.

For example, students and teachers at Moore Elementary in Texas recently celebrated their 99th day in school by wearing football player J. J. Watt’s #99 jerseys to class. A boy named Brock didn’t have his own jersey, so he made one out of a regular t-shirt with paper and bobby pins.

Brock’s teacher, Malinda Ross, shared a photo of herself with him and another student that day on Twitter. And his effort paid off. It ended up catching the attention of the Houston Texans player himself. He even offered to deliver a jersey to the little boy!

After getting the school’s address, Watt showed up about a week later. There he found Brock, who was stunned by the football player’s presence.

Watt not only surprised Brock with a jersey of his own, but gave him multiple ones to wear whenever he wants!

He even signed one of the jerseys, adding a special message for Brock.

“Now he has a couple jerseys of his own to choose from and I have a new friend named Brock,” Watt wrote on Twitter. Thousands of fans responded to praise him for being such a genuinely nice person.

“You’re a class act J. J. and a person that young players and people should [aspire] to emulate,” one person wrote.

Another added, “I’m a Raiders fan but @JJWatt is by far the best Person in the NFL. Things he does for his community and kids in his community are just so amazing to watch.”

Even the footwear company Reebok took notice and offered their own generous gift to Brock… as well as Malinda and the other student in the photo.
