For many people, myself included, there hasn’t been a time when Sajak wasn’t the host of this popular game show. That’s why it’s oh-so bittersweet that tonight is officially his last night on the show. After 41 seasons and more than 8,000 episodes, it’s understandable why he’d want to retire at this point.
Still, fans can’t help but feel sad over the end of this decades-long era. There’s just something special about the way Sajak effortlessly guides the show’s contestants that makes it perfect for people of all ages to watch.
