The “Got Talent” franchise has attracted talented acts from all over the world, spawning spin-offs in more than 70 countries. After witnessing such an abundance and variety of talent, you’d think we as an audience would have seen it all by now – but contestants just keeps getting better and better.
This year, the show made its way to China in an adaptation known in Chinese as “Dian Feng Zhi Lu,” which translates to “World’s Got Talent.” While it’s a worldwide competition, one exceptionally stunning duo has set themselves apart from the rest.

The husband and wife team, 49 and 39, respectively, specialize in ballet-style dance, but it’s not exactly what you’d call traditional. As the two begin their audition set to “Never Enough” from the musical, “The Greatest Showman,” they stay perfectly in sync with each other as one graceful unit.

What starts as a magical scene between two lovers underneath the full moon turns into a breathtaking performance packed with emotion and jaw-dropping lifts.

The unbelievably poised woman maintains perfect balance no matter how precariously she’s positioned, prompting cheers from the audience and judges alike. At one point, she stands en pointe on one leg… atop her husband’s shoulder! But if that wasn’t enough to make the judges gasp, the man starts walking, holding her up as if she weighs no more than a feather.

Then, in a move that blows every single viewer away, the woman stands tiptoe on her husband’s head – and spins! At no point do either give any hint of losing control or balance. It’s no wonder they bring the audience to their feet and tears to the judges’ eyes.

Everyone probably held their breath throughout the performance, including the couple’s young son, who came up on stage afterward carrying the sweetest drawing of his parents. He admitted he was worried his mom would fall…

…but he wasn’t afraid to demonstrate his own balancing skills. Not only did the family capture the judges’ hearts with their talents, but with their charm as well. The woman explained that while some people see what they do as an insult to traditional ballet, she’ll keep dancing until she can’t anymore.
“As long as you are willing, my shoulder shall be your stage forever,” her husband replied.

Judge Tonya Young could be seen tearing up throughout the entire exchange. She knew such an unforgettable audition deserved an equally moving response.
“I was astonished by your performance, astonished by your love, your happiness in your family astonished me, and the ‘never give up’ spirit in pursuing your dream has astonished me, too. So, today, I must…” she said before hitting her Golden Buzzer!
