It’s not an exaggeration to say that when Gabriel Henrique took to the “America’s Got Talent” stage last week, he left folks speechless. It was time for the Qualifiers round, so this talented singer from Brazil had to give his best performance yet. It’s no wonder, then, why he chose “Something Beautiful” by Jacob Banks. Not only did this choice help Gabriel show off his smooth voice, but it also allowed him to showcase some of the most impressive notes I’ve ever heard.
As the song built to those moments, Sofía Vergara, who gave Gabriel her Golden Buzzer when he auditioned, eagerly watched with pride. Then, when the big moment came for the singer to hit the first of his high notes, the crowd went wild! Vergara described the moment best when she said that, “It was perfection. It was just like an angel.”
“I like to sing what I feel in my heart,” Gabriel said. “And if it’s not with love then it doesn’t mean anything.”
