People are rediscovering the joy of birdwatching in their backyard. A popular product is a bird feeder with a camera, such as the one made by Bird Buddy. The built-in cameras enable homeowners to access them remotely. People can watch live during a break from work without disturbing the wildlife. Bird feeders may also attract other animals, such as deer, that may eat you out of house and home.

A central Florida family has created an oasis they call “Pops’ Bird Feeder & Garden.” The family dedicated the area to the memory of a grandfather who loved birds and gardening. They post videos and commentary on TikTok. After installing a Bird Buddy and adding a perch extender, they receive a wide variety of visitors.
There is a steady stream of winged visitors, including a mated pair of cardinals, a painted bunting, a tufted titmouse, and a woodpecker. There have also been a few stray mammals, including squirrels, a deer, and this adorable little bandit.

One of the silliest visitors to the bird feeder is a deer. The feeder is mounted pretty high, and the deer can barely reach the feeding platform. Using ingenuity and a long tongue, the deer did manage to empty the entire feeder.

The deer is a regular visitor to the bird feeder. Squirrels and the wily raccoon are also frequent guests. We’re pretty sure that the deer also raid the garden. Vegetables are more in tune with their diet. If you’re interested in keeping up with these critters and the vast array of birds, follow Pops’ Bird Feeder & Garden. The family posts frequently as they monitor garden growth and bird feeder activity.
Please share if the raccoon is cute.
