Workers Go Above & Beyond To Help Save Little Boy’s Vacation Fun, Despite A Broken Arm!

A man looks down at a little boy, one arm wrapped around him. The little boy wears a life vest and a cast on one arm. They both hold into a rope that hangs above them

There’s never really a “good” time to break your arm. Still, there are times when doing so is especially inconvenient. For example, a little boy named Dax got a broken arm the literal week before his family vacation. Talk about a real bummer! Needless to say, this made some of their plans a bit complicated, especially the ones that involved water.

One of their plans included something called “the pirate swing.” From a boat, folks can swing from a rope and into the water. Sadly, this was one adventure Dax was looking forward to the most. Mom was determined to make it happen, consulting with his doctor to get a waterproof cover for his cast. But having a broken arm proved to be too much of an issue… at least at first. See how these thoughtful employees made this kid’s vacation all he hoped it would be at this link.

On his own, Dax was far too weak to hold onto the rope. So, one of the employees offered to carry the kid on his back. The time these two sweet people take in order to ensure Dax is safe is oh-so-heartwarming. It’s no wonder Dax’s entire family can’t thank them enough for what they did! Lots of people on social media feel the same way.

“Something about other people caring enough to make something special for your child is just such a [good] feeling,” someone in the comments points out, another person adding, “Side stepping off the edge so he didn’t risk hitting his head [too.]”

It goes to show that going above and beyond can have a huge impact on someone. It’s worth keeping that in mind the next time you have an opportunity to help someone out!
