William Shatner

There’s never a time when we see emergency vehicles that we don’t get a pit in our stomachs. This is particularly true when it comes to our favorite celebrities. When TMZ broke the news that the iconic William Shatner had a medical emergency, many people panicked. Pictures of ambulances caused great concern for the 94-year-old actor. But it seems the fears turned out to be for naught. William’s agent, Harry Gold, told the news agency that William had an issue with his blood sugar and took an ambulance to an area hospital as a precautionary measure. “He’s fine,” Gold said, adding that William is home and resting.

William Shatner Took To Social Media To Ease Fans’ Minds

William Shatner shared an update on Instagram to let his fans know he is doing well and may have eaten a bit too much.

“I over indulged. I thank you all for caring but I’m perfectly fine,” he wrote. “I keep telling you all: don’t trust tabloids or AI!”

It’s unclear whether or not William Shatner is diabetic, but blood sugar issues are common with both types of the disease.

His fans wanted William to know that they’re thinking only good things about the Star Trek star.

This fan has lots of confidence in William’s longevity. “You and Chuck Norris will be here at the end of all things!” They wrote.

“I know Ill get push Back. But of all the Star Trek tv series shows. None even come close to the original. I could still watch every Episode of the original and still love it. Not so much when watching any of the other ones,” a fan praised.

“I’m glad you’re okay, I almost started crying,” another person wrote.

But one William Shatner fan takes the cake for best comment.

“What else can one say? Live long and prosper,” they wrote.
