Kelsea Ballerini Shared Update On Beloved Family Member

Kelsea Ballerini Lexapro

Our pets are an integral part of our family, just like our loved ones. They show us unconditional love through actions, and if they could talk, we’re sure they’d tell us, too. While our pets can’t tell us when something is wrong or if they’re in pain, we know. Making sure they are comfortable means the world, and we’ll do all that we can to love on them. In late August, Kelsea Ballerini shared sad news on Instagram about her beloved dog, per the Today Show.

“The last few days we have discovered that dibby has inoperable cancer in his heart,” Kelsea shared on Instagram. “He’s not in pain, and luckily it hasn’t spread further. we’re going to start him on the ‘big’ meds to try to make sure he can have as many comfortable and happy days (weeks, months) left as possible.”

Kelsea Ballerini’s Dog Just Had Surgery

Kelsea Ballerini didn’t specify exactly what’s going on with her dog, Dibby, but she shared on her Instagram story that he had a procedure on September 24, Parade reported. “Baby boy has a surprise surgery today,” Kelsea shared.

When Kelsea Ballerini announced her dog’s illness, she shared her goal to love and care for Dibby as long as he needs her.

“We’re going to start him on the ‘big’ meds to try to make sure he can have as many comfortable and happy days (weeks, months) left as possible.”

Kelsea added, “It’s a complex and emotional time. He’s been my baby and my steady for the last 9 years and very much alongside this whole journey with us all.” Ballerini acknowledged she knew her fans cared about him and were sending love and prayers. “He’s wagging his tail right now no doubt saying thank you too,” she shared.

We’re dog lovers too. We hope Kelsea and Dibby have lots of quality days ahead.
