“When Harry Met Sally” Gets A Hysterical Reboot For The Super Bowl

When Harry Met Sally Super Bowl

It’s been more than 35 years since Meg Ryan showed the whole world that it’s pretty darn easy to pretend to have a good time if you know what we mean When Harry Met Sally is a classic romantic comedy starring Meg and Billy Crystal. The movie’s presence revolves around whether a man and woman can be friends without attraction getting in the way. The movie’s diner scene is arguably one of the best in 1980s cinema. While out to lunch, Harry and Sally, played by Billy and Meg, discuss sex, and Sally convinces Harry that faking an orgasm is not only easy but very convincing. The scene is so iconic when it came to a When Harry Met Sally reboot for the Super Bowl, the stars could barely contain their excitement.

The Stars Reunited In The Same Location As The Movie For The “When Harry Met SallySuper Bowl Ad

In the ad, the pair are seated in Katz’s Delicatessen in New York City. Billy says to Meg, “I can’t believe they let us back in this place,”

She asks, “Why?”

Billy looks at her perplexed and says, “Hello…,” a nod to the last time the pair were at the deli.

“Nobody remembers that,” Meg says during the ad referencing her famous When Harry Met Sally scene.

As the pair begin to eat, Meg’s sandwich just isn’t doing it for her. So she grabs the bottle of Hellman’s and all of a sudden, her life changes. Meg begins to share her excitement in a very familiar way.

“Here we go,” Billy says because he knows what’s about to happen.

Meg’s reprisal of her When Harry Met Sally character does not disappoint in the Super Bowl ad. There’s even another iconic moment at the end, but we won’t spoil it all.

Billy and Meg teased they had something in the works on Instagram a few weeks ago. They wrote, “It’s finally happening. We’re reuniting for something iconic. I can’t wait to show you all soon.”
