After serving water to the football team year after year at his high school in Little Chute, Wisconsin, Noah Van Vooren finally got his first chance to score his own touch down. A senior at the high school, Van Vooren has always been the football team’s biggest supporter, so the football team decided to do something for him he’d never forget.

During the football season of his senior year, his teammates knew they needed to honor Van Vooren for his team spirit. So before the final home game, Van Vooren got to suit up in his #14 jersey for the Little Chute Mustangs and prepare for his chance on the field.

Just before the end of the game Van Vooren was given the chance to score the final touch down. The whole stadium errupted with excitement for him. Full of pride, Van Vooren exclaimed, “I scored a touchdown! I feel great!”
“He was born 18 years ago and the doctors told us that he would never be able to walk, talk, or do anything,” said Van Vooren’s father. “And then to see him 18 years later, do this, is amazing. It’s amazing.”
