Preschooler Makes Facilities Manager’s Day By Dressing Up Like Him for School

Children are so impressionable, and the role that adults play in their lives can change them forever. Mr. Bubba Cable is the facilities manager at First Baptist Clinton in Clinton, Mississippi. The preschool children love Mr. Bubba, and he loves the kids.

“Mr. Bubba does everything for us. I mean, all we have to do is text Mr. Bubba, and he’s on it,” Weekday Preschool Director Kim Evrard told Baptist Press. “He doesn’t just take care of us. He takes care of our whole church.”

The school held its annual “Dress As What You Want To be When You Grow Up Day” and one 4-year-old boy proclaimed, “When I grow up, I want to be Mr. Bubba.”

Mr. Bubba didn’t know about the special day until the kids got to school. In a viral video, we see the darling moment the two Mr. Bubbas meet at school.

“I love kids. I’ve got four grandbabies myself,” Mr. Bubba told Baptist Press. “To me, there’s no more honest person than a child.”

“The video made people so happy. He was ready. Keys, walkie and cell phone,” a comment reads.

This person knows just how Mr. Bubba feels. “i have one little girl who always walks up to me and has a conversation with me when she sees me, she’s four. she makes me enjoy being a janitor at a preschool.”

“I just hope that they grow up and follow the Lord and do good things in life,” Bubba Cable told Baptist Press. “There’s so many bad things in this world, you just hope that they don’t get mixed up with the wrong groups.”
