Have you ever seen coyotes singing? If not, you’re in for a treat! Thanks to a perfectly placed trail camera, we now have footage of a hilarious “concert” performed by a pair of these wild animals near Lake Tahoe. The sound of their howls is both haunting and oddly endearing! ABC 7 News shared a video of these musical creatures on TikTok.
“A trail camera in California captured a coyote concert put on by what locals call the ‘Lake Tahoe Singin’ Dawgs,'” reads the caption.
Commenters were absolutely delighted by the footage of the singing coyotes.
“Better than any Taylor Swift concert,” one person joked.
Another user added that the sound was familiar to them, but seeing the animals in action was a rare treat.
“I love this I hear them all the time, but I’ve never seen them,” the commenter wrote. “They very rarely have showed up in my yard on my trail cameras.”
Although it’s always cool to catch a candid glimpse of wildlife through trail cameras, coming face to face with these singing coyotes would probably be a very different story! It’s always important to respect wildlife and learn how to safely share this world. We’re grateful to be able to enjoy this performance from the “Lake Tahoe Singin’ Dawgs” from the safety of our own homes.
