Dog Is A Bit Skeptical When New Bed Contains Suspicious Design Feature

Image shows a timid goldendoodle stepping around a tiger decal on his new dog bed.

Mike and Garrett are renovating a 100-year-old house in New Jersey. Their “son” is a goldendoodle named Moose. When it was time for Moose to get a new bed, Mike and Garrett selected a large blue bed that coordinated well with the room decor. Unfortunately, the dog bed was occupied by a “tiger” that scared Moose.

Not at all sure about his new dog bed, Moose stepped on it gingerly, trying to avoid the tiger. The image resembles a tiger skin throw rug lying across the center of the dog bed. Sniffing the decal, Moose stepped around the image of the strange animal, trying to settle.

After circling the bed, Moose finally opted to share the bed. He scrunched his 92-pound body along one edge, making every effort not to touch the “thing” on his new bed. It wasn’t love at first nap, but hopefully, Moose will make friends with the decal and start using the whole bed.

In addition to posting about their project house, the men also post Moose antics, estate sales, travel destinations, food, and home shows.

As Mike and Garrett continue their DIY renovations, Moose stays at their side. The trio was recently invited to a “Pup-nic” sponsored by Spruce, a new weed & grass killer. We’re pretty sure that Moose enjoys the snacks at these events more than he enjoys sharing his dog bed with the tiger decal.

You can follow Mike and Garrett’s DIY progress on TikTok and Instagram. We know you’re curious about how long it will take Moose to make friends with the tiger decal. They also visit estate sales and product events. Moose accompanies them when they can.
