You’re a mean one, Mr. Grinch! But you’re no match for a gaggle of children who must defend their Christmas presents.
A video from Christmas past is making its rounds through social media. It shows a group of neighbors and their kids who took a holiday trip to Pigeon Forge, TN, together. As a joke, the parents enlisted someone to dress up like Whoville’s favorite villain and had him sneak in to steal all the presents.
While some may think kids would be scared of a big green grump, the kids in this video had no fear. The Grinch stealthily came in through a balcony door and had his giant bag ready for the gifts. The children screamed when they noticed him prancing past the windows, but they pounced the second he made it into the house.
One of the oldest boys became the main defender. He honed into his inner NFL star and blocked Mr. Grinch from the goods. The thief ultimately overpowered him, and the rest of the kids ran to fight the Grinch. In the end, the Grinch only made it out with one gift.
The caption explained that the Seuss creature made his move during a Secret Santa exchange. There were plenty of screams, and one girl cried some tears. But in the end, the kids told their parents that their fight with the Grinch was their favorite part of the trip.
