A 17-year-old high school student had just completed a food delivery, when his phone started ringing. When the student, Chen, went to answer the call, he accidentally sideswiped a BMW parked on the street.

Mortified, Chen rushed to make a final delivery before returning to the vehicle to make things right. He wrote a heartfelt apology letter to the vehicle’s owner and pinned it to the windshield with all the money he had. The heartfelt letter and Chen’s responsible actions have inspired the world since his story recently went viral. But that wasn’t the end of the story.

“Uncle, I’m sorry. I accidentally bumped into your car last night when I was driving an electric tricycle.”

The BMW owner, Xue Xhanmin, was amazed by the delivery boy’s honesty. Xue reasoned that the young man came from a poor family and resolved to show his gratitude in a way that would truly bless him.

Xue enlisted the help of the local police force and media to find Chen and within days the two scheduled to meet. The Chinese business man not only returned Chen’s money, he praised him for his honesty by giving him a $10,000 yuan ($1,453) reward.
