It can be intimidating for singers to put their own twist on songs originally performed by iconic stars. But that didn’t stop Bella Mackenzie from confidently taking “The Voice Australia” stage by storm. Dressed from head to toe like a fabulous cowgirl, she did her own version of Taylor Swift’s popular song “Anti-Hero.”

Thanks to Bella’s aesthetic and Southern drawl, the song was transformed from a pop tune to a country bop. Considering the fact that Swift made a name for herself as a country artist, it’s like the song was made for this exact twist.
Bella’s voice is strong and smooth, and her raspiness fits the song perfectly. That’s why, from the very start, the judges were tempted to turn around. And, over time, they all did one by one. Bella was able to keep her composure for most of her performance, but her voice faltered with joy at the end for a brief moment — and who could blame her?
Watch Bella perform her own stunning version of “Anti-Hero” in the video below.
