Ozzy Osbourne’s family said goodbye to the Prince of Darkness on July 30. While the Osbournes opted for a private funeral, hundreds gathered in his hometown of Birmingham, England, to pay their respects. Fans lined the streets cheering as Ozzy Osbourne’s widow, Sharon Osbourne, and her children made their way through town. Jack Osbourne and Kelly Osbourne walked next to a visibly shaken Sharon Osbourne and cried along with their mother. As the crowd cheered, Sharon stopped to thank fans by putting her two fingers in the air.

Fans Showed Sharon Osbourne And Her Family Lots Of Love On The Day Of The Funeral
While life will never be the same for Sharon Osbourne, she can certainly take solace in the fact that millions of people loved her husband. According to Billboard, the hearse carrying his body made its way through the city while fans chanted, “Ozzy, Ozzy, Ozzy, oi, oi, oi!”
Local musicians Bostin’ Brass performed Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne songs like Iron Man and Crazy Train. During his final days, Ozzy Osbourne spent time with Sharon Osbourne and his children and grandchildren in their native England.
“Sharon had wanted to move back to England for years, especially as she got older. England was always home for them, but it became more than that,” a source told People. “It was about creating peace and the best life possible together in their final chapter. The path back to England wasn’t easy. His health has been fragile for years. It was a gift, because they got a year and half together, at home.”
Thankfully, that’s just how things worked out for Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne.
“Ozzy’s final days were spent in England, surrounded by family, music, and in the place he called home. He was in peace,” the source said.
