It can be hard enough on dogs when their pet moms and dads are gone all day, but when their pet parents leave for weeks? The separation can be practically unbearable!
It isn’t always just moms and dads who are missed, though. Sometimes, our pets become attached to family members and friends, too. That was exactly the case for an adorable chow chow who was absolutely beside herself when her grandma had to travel for work.

In an effort to lift her spirits, the pup’s mom decided to FaceTime with her own mother.
While some dogs don’t quite understand the technology, the chow saw her grandmother’s face on the screen and had a pretty adorable reaction.

As Grandma cooed are her grandpuppy, telling her how much she loved her and that she’d be home soon, the dog whimpered in misery. You can practically hear her begging Grandma to come back home!

According to the video’s description, the pup’s grandmother had been away for three weeks. That must have seemed like three lifetimes to the cute pooch!
Thankfully, it’s been enough time since the video was posted that it’s more than likely the chow’s grandma returned home – and received lots of loving kisses.
