A college student from Huntsville, AL is doing something amazing for the elderly, disabled, and single mothers in his community.
Rodney Smith Jr. was driving through his neighborhood when he noticed an elderly neighbor struggling to cut his grass, “so it came to me that I should do something, so from then on I decided to cut grass for free for the elderly, disabled, and single parent mothers,” Smith told HuffPost.
And so, the “Raising Men Lawn Care Service” was born.
Smith’s vision is taking his small Alabama town by storm. He now has dozens of young volunteers that are making quite the difference in the community. Smith plans to register Raising Men Lawn Care Service as a non-profit organization as soon as he graduates from college.
