Ralph Macchio

Let’s face it, we’re not getting any younger. No matter how hard we try, we can’t go back in time. But that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t enjoy a dose of nostalgia from time to time. There have been plenty of reboots of our favorite shows throughout the last few years, and Cobra Kai is hands down one of the best. It brought back Ralph Macchio and William Zabka, reprising their roles from the iconic Karate Kid franchise. Daniel LaRusso’s iconic underdog character and the villainous Johnny Lawrence brought back all the feels. It ushered in a new generation of fans who love Daniel.

Fans loved seeing Ralph Macchio back in his most iconic role.

“Looking amazing as usual. Must be a great feeling for the Movie to be set in NYC, being one yourself,” a fan shared on Instagram.

This person agreed writing, “Always dapper sir. Gutted I didn’t see you there but hope you had a great time!”

This fan would love to see more of Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence.

“I want more Seasons of Cobra Kai the marriage of Sam and tory with her Partners Daniel and Johnny made a dojo together more Champions Chips! Johnny being successful to sell Cars etc.,” they wrote.

Of course, fans couldn’t help but feel a bit sentimental about another very important person in the Karate Kid universe. There will always be a special place in our hearts for Mr. Miyagi.

“Ralph i saw your Hollywood star! It was right by Pat Morita’s,” a fan pointed out.

It’s hard to believe Ralph Macchio is about the same age as Pat Morita was when the first film premiered in 1984. We’re sure Mr. Miyagi’s looking down with a smile and a reminder to, “wax on, wax off.”
