Dear Tooth Fairy: Pilot Writes Note For Girl Who Lost Her Tooth On The Plane.

two-photo collage. on the left there is a picture of lena with her mouth wide open to show her missing tooth. on the right there is a picture of a united airlines pilot writing a note to the tooth fairy on behalf of lena.

A little girl named Lena was sound asleep during a flight home when she suddenly woke up and realized that one of her teeth had fallen out.

For many kids, like Lena, losing a tooth is an exciting moment because it means that the Tooth Fairy is going to pay them a little visit (obviously, with a payment in hand!) Lena was concerned, however, that wasn’t going to be the case this time because she couldn’t find her missing tooth.

That’s when United Airlines captain, Josh, intervened to save the day and take Lena’s worries away!

According to Lena’s mom, Lauren Larmon, the pilot noticed that the girl was trying to go back through security at the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport in hopes she could find her tooth. Knowing that there was a very slim chance of Lena succeeding, Captain Josh got a little creative and decided to write a note for the Tooth Fairy himself.

In the note, he explains that Lena’s tooth fell out during the flight and that he was hoping she could take the note in lieu of her tooth.

This is how Captain Josh was able to put a smile back on Lena’s face! Also, even though we’ve yet to get confirmation on this, we’re certain that the Tooth Fairy was understanding of the situation and still left a little payment under Lena’s pillow.

Thank you, Captain Josh!

Don’t forget to share Captain Josh’s sweet act of kindness with a friend.
