This shelter dog made a great escape in an effort to get some snackies. However, when this police officer showed up, the dog’s plan was totally foiled!
Lost Our Home Pet Rescue and the Tempe Police Department work together closely to make sure that lost and found pets are able to stay safe at all hours of the day.
This shelter dog escaped his kennel early in the morning, thinking he was totally in the clear to break into the food supply. But the police officer caught him!
While it was the wee hours of the morning, this police officer knew the shelter dog had broken out. Not only that, but the pup was clearly up to no good. The officer came in, delivered some pets, and quickly returned the pup to his kennel.
Then, the officer went above and beyond, cleaning up the mess!
Lost Our Home shared the shelter dog escape video on Facebook and highlighted the police officer’s dedication to their animals.
“The Tempe Police Department is called to the scene for what can only be described as the cutest arrest ever! This dog had some amazing skills! And one of the coolest police officers ever who went above and beyond the call of duty to clean up the mess the dog made,” the rescue captioned the post.
