The holidays can be a rough time of year for families with members deployed in the armed forces.
If they’re lucky, they get a few days off to come home and spend time with their loved ones. When this particular family was gathering for a group photo around the holidays, they lamented that the only thing that would make the moment better would be their missing serviceman, Nate.

“Looks good, looks good everybody,” the photographer says as she stages the picture, and the surprise! “The only thing that could make this picture better… is if Nate were here.”
As soon as she mentions his name, Nate walks in from the kitchen and the looks on everyone’s faces are simply the best gift!

The shrieks and screams of joy that come out of this group can surely be heard by neighbors all around them. It doesn’t faze them, though, because they are all too excited to be bothered by things like noise at this point.
The entire group rises to their feet and take turns ambushing Nate for hugs, as he smiles and soaks in all the family goodness.

The best part (and most relatable, for a lot of us) is that among all the women in the family, there doesn’t appear to be a single one who is not crying. It’s slightly comical, and Nate even says to one of them, “Stop crying!” as he laughs in pure enjoyment.

People across social media are so invested in this family thanks to the amazing video. One person called Nate “a legend,” another commented how much they love his family, and one person simply thanked the family for sharing the video and passing along the warm-fuzzies.
Somehow, this less than two-minute video captures all the feels and is a perfect depiction of the love of a family.
Don’t forget to share Nate’s heartwarming homecoming with your friends!
