Who can resist the smiling face and wagging tail of an enthusiastic dog who’s desperate for love? No one we want to know!
Tubs is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier who lives in Townsville, Australia. To say that Tubs likes people is a bit of an understatement. She actually adores people so much, that her owner had to put a sign up in their front yard to encourage people to say hello to the friendly pooch!
“Tubs is friendly,” the sign reads. “She would love a gentle pat.”
More than 5.8 million people have watched this video of Tubs and her adorable new sign. Subsequent videos have gained even more attention, including gaining 642,000 followers who follow her every tail wag.
“Tubs full of love” gets plenty of attention at home, but she still can’t resist greeting every person who walks by her front yard. Her owners get a huge kick out of seeing her greet people like they’re old friends!
Of course, not everyone enjoys saying hello to friendly dogs while they’re going about their days. As Tubs’s owner says, “Not everyone pats Tubs, and that’s okay…. we understand but Tubs does not.”
Thankfully, there are plenty of other friendly neighbors who don’t mind taking a minute to make Tubs’s day. Her TikTok and Instagram are full of precious videos of the happy girl and her temporary BFFs, and her fans can’t get enough of them.
“I would never leave if I stopped by,” someone wrote in a TikTok comment. “So many snuggles.”
“She’s everyone’s emotional support dog,” wrote another.
